Waves, whether those of water or those of light, have always been an inspiration – to composers and their musical language and to visual artists and their expression. The program “Wellenklänge” now combines acoustic and visual waves into a multi-sensory overall experience that immerses the space in sound and light. The ingenious visuals, specially created for the two players transcriptions of Grieg’s first “Peer Gynt Suite”, Dvorak’s “Die Moldau” and Peter Frisée’s “Elbwellen” merge into a audiovisual experience in which the audience can immerse.
